Nevil Pierrepoint Oliver

N.B. The above spelling of 'Nevil' is correct  -- 

was born in Truro 13/9/1917 and died in Brighton 2004.  His mother's maiden name was Tolley.

I am looking for his marriage to Margaret (surname unknown) and also did he have any children.  (understand names of any children can't be given as they will be alive.)    Thanks.

Nevil is in the 1939 Register, still single and name spelled Neville.  Living in Brighton.

If he married it would have been 1939 or later.

Not seeing any marriage as either Nevil or Neville.  On what do you base the information that he married a Margaret?

I googled his name and found the below

NEVIL PIERREPONT OLIVER Born Circa 1917 at Goonbell St Agnes Cornwall UK. Son of GUY PIERREPONT OLIVER and MABEL OLIVER (nee TOLLEY)
In 1940's during WWII billeted in Sussex. He was a driver in the Royal Marines and married Margaret Whellans in Hawick Scotland in 1945.
Information sought about his possible whereabouts after that period and any possible family connections. Many thanks

Although they married in Scotland there are five births registered between 1945 and 1960 in Brighton.

(I knew his wife was Margaret because Nevil was a beneficiary from a relatives will and it stated in the will that '.....is left to Nevil Oliver and his wife Margaret')
