Names not yet known, WW2 -ish
« on: Wednesday 19 May 21 14:40 BST (UK) »
I've been sent this by a contact who is not yet sure who the couple are, but is making enquiries amongst family members. She thinks it was probably taken in the North East area and as the man in in uniform its possibly c WW2-ish.
I'd been telling her about the skills of folk in here and we wondered if anyone can improve it to remove the green cast.
- we did wonder if it was taken by an ex-girl/boyfriend who was peeved that their ex was marrying someone else:-)
Thanks

Boo

The groom looks newly enlisted, there are no signs of any rank. From sloppy stance he doesn’t appear to have had much experience of drill on the parade ground. :)

One from me...

thank you Handypandy :-)

Still fascinates me that though all the restores are great, they each are individual.

Not sure if its techniques used or just a personal 'touch' by the restorer but its lovely to see and very interesting.

looks like it was quite windy that day, can't decide if she's clinging onto him in case he changes his mind or to stop herself blowing away :-)
