Jo, I think a lot of areas of the UK are having changeable weather, not good having all that rain when you're waiting to cut the lawn but I'm sure the plants will be pleased.  :)
I've hard pruned a couple of my shrubs this year as I'd read that it does them good sometimes. Lovely to have your wisteria flowering so well now.

MH, re the Tesco delivery, there's hovering and hovering! I had no problem at all with the previous delivery but I felt like this driver was breathing down my neck. What he could have done is taken a couple of steps back while I transferred my shopping. I don't have an alternative solution to the plastic bag situation, I don't actually have any objection to this method since trying it, I only have an objection to feeling harassed.

You must have felt very pleased and satisfied at having helped your friend with her family tree. It's a shame that people automatically believe what they've read on the Internet, an even greater shame that people put this misleading stuff there in the first place.

Good to hear that your test is negative KG, hope the appointment was useful.

Sorry about the date folks, not the first time I've done this!  ::) Corrected now.  :)

Had  sessions of ultrasound February 2020! Both failed.
Prognosis is now for laser surgery :o

Not a great day.

Came back from the school run and my mum called to say she had coffee ground vomit and was short of breath.  I had to call a 999 ambulance.  She was admitted over night.

Disappointed in myself for not hanging the washing out. forecast said chance of rain and because i was running about I didn't want to risk it

Hope your Mum is quickly diagnosed and settled ,you will know those symptoms can be something treatable and whilst worrying not sinister.
But I also know you will be worried .
Very sensible to watch the weather re your washing.

I thought my son had visitors re his testing but no, it was a venue and someone had been tested and was positive.
He was traced by his phone.
Raining here again today , just having cheese and biscuits for a light lunch before taxi comes for my eye appt.

I too feel pressurised when the delivery man is waiting, they must allow time to unpack now there are no bags with our deliveries.
My last order also came early,  an hour early  !

Well must get on.
Can’t rush these days.
Cheerio everyone .
Viktoria.

Sorry to hear about your mum PharmaT, hope the hospital have been able to diagnose the problem today. Don't worry about the washing, more important things to think about.

Pleased to hear the Covid tracing system is working Viktoria. Hope your eye appointment goes well.

Thanks Roobarb, the Taxi was prompt ,£22 going and £25 coming back but the driver took me to Tesco and waited then finished the journey.
It was worth it .
Another operation on Rt,eye, the same as the Left ie the detaching of a canal behind the eye as the pressure was high despite regular drops .
But such good care.
It will be at least three months with very many drops ,but will be worth it.

Well rain today ,quite heavy and the landscape over the moors to and from Rochdale so green but totally empty but for a few sheep.
Low lowering dark clouds.

Tesco had some ice geranium plants in, but son will come tomorrow and take me to Tesco  if my walking isn’t too bad, otherwise they will shop at their branch of Morrison’s and bring shopping to me.
Heavy winds, gale force ,forecast for tonight !

Daughter sent an email asking me for what ring size I wear, but my knuckles are very distorted by arthritis ,if a ring goes over then ,it spins round when past the last knuckle .
So I said best to wait until I go down which was going to be ASAP,but now——?
If restrictions allow ,and the op is a few months away I will go down soon.
No use getting glasses yet but I must get some good simple magnifying
ones ..
Well the Aquilegia are taking over as usual, they always do!
Globe flowers in full bloom ,watching the peony ,it will be its first year in bloom as the wind tore  it down last year and seemed to scorch it.
Lots of cuttings have taken, flowering currants ,dogwood.St John’s Wort. Rose of Sharon, cotoneaster.
Don’t know where to put them all.
What a nice problem.

Hope you are all keeping well ,gardens blooming , and the weather will improve!
Cheerio folks, take care everyone.
Viktoria.

Good to hear you were well looked after today Viktoria. I have aquilegia in my garden too, more than one plant as they've self seeded. Two plants have pink flowers and one has mauve, apparently they have a tendency towards changing colour.
