Hi
The GRO have the following birth registration
Olive Rose Boughton 1903 Dec Q Dartford mmn Godfrey
There is another possible sibling
Sidney Boughton mmn Godfrey 1908 June Q Dartford mmn also Godfrey.
In 1911 Sidney appears to be living with Aunt and Uncle Godfrey but no Olive.
Bmds suggest parents could be Horace Boughton and Amy Godfrey who married in Dartford in 1903.

hello cath151
I know about the family in england there is also a gertrude may baptised 1906 in 1911 they are in the care of barnados while sidney is still with his mother. Both olive and gertrude were sent to canada as home children  it is information about any chidren born to them in canada and also .whether descendants are interested in the family in england.  I have been having a rest from family history having got as far back as i feel i am able to go thought i would sort out some things i didnt get to before.

I think you have some of this. I am posting it for the benefit of others on this thread, and to find descendants.

-----------
married 21 Mar 1928, Smithville, Lincoln Township, Ontario,

Gertrude Gladys Boughton, 21, a domestic, born in England, a Baptist, working as a domestic, living in Hamilton, parents John and Rose Hobday, guardians, parents not known

to Orland Clifford Cosby, 20, a farmer, born in Canada, living in Clinton Township, parents: Elmon? Caramon Cosby and Maud Cosby. witnesses: Carmon and Maud Cosby of Beamsville

the marriage is indexed as Broughton. the image says Broughton also, but ancestry has a name correction to Boughton on this record.

---------
note:
John and Rose Hobday in 1921
manager of Dr Barnado's Home
52 Peter St, Toronto South, Ontario

http://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?app=Census1921&op=pdf&id=e003041630

----------
Gertrude in 1921
1921 Clinton Township, Lincoln District, Ontario
Gladys Boughton, 14, born in England, arrived in 1914, working as a domestic, Baptist

[indexed as Broughton]

http://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?app=Census1921&op=pdf&id=e002940385

----------
last sighting on line:
Voters List, 1974
at 39 Margueritte Street, Beamsville, Lincoln, Ontario, Canada
Clifford Cosby, retired
Mrs Gertrude Cosby

------------
A tree at ancestry says Gertrude Gladys (Boughton) Cosby died 17 December 1983, presumably somewhere near her 1974 residence.

The tree also says her husband Orland Clifford Cosby died 1 March 1981 and is buried in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill, Ontario. No source for either date

They are said to have had a son Carmon Orland Cosby (1931 - 11 December 1968), buried Mt Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville, Niagara, Ontario, Canada.

and a daughter May Kathleen (Cosby) Harris (1933 - 8 April 2010, Welland Hospital, Welland, Ontario). Her husband Albert William Harris said to have died 25 June 2003, same hospital.

also a son, marked private in the tree.

Can we post images that have names of living persons? Gertrude and Clifford Cosby's obits are on the tree at ancestry as images.
Edit: May and Albert Harris' obituaries are online, not her parents'.
