Is anyone else having an issue where hitting the 'Back' key from a match's page takes you back to the main listing page but right at the top rather than the point at which the match features? I'm getting RSI from all the scrolling.

Yes. It started a few days ago. I thought it was my browser.
Really annoying isn't it.

Slightly away from main topic, but has anyone else noticed their new matches reducing considerably. I usually have close to 90 (that has been quite consistent for months), but in the last three weeks or so it has reduced steadily and today it's 55. I don't know how long they are flagged as new matches - possibly 10 - 14 days?
Of course it could be I'm just running out of rellies.

Apart from the days that they went online, I'm fairly sure I have never had as many as 55 new matches at once for any of the tests I manage.  :(

The number is what appears under groups for new matches. It wouldn't be the number of new ones for each day. I don't know how long Ancestry classifies them as new for. Possibly the total in a rolling fortnight. I seem to have had about 4 or 5 new ones per day for the last few days.

I think that new matches are for the last 14 days. An alternative that I use is to bring up unviewed. This lists those with the larger shared DNA first.

Add - I've just checked and my new matches = 105!

Ah, I see now. I've never looked at that feature before.  Currently 66.  I feel better now, thanks!

Well, finaly got the new version today!

Snap. I got it about 15 minutes ago. Fills in a few gaps now all I have to wait for is them to give the breakdown of the cMs I share with the matches - fingers crossed for sometime never .......  ;)
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

I got this new facility a few days ago, but am only just checking it out…

I don’t think it adds much for me, because I’ve already colour coded most, and because my late Mother tested, I can see which sides many are on.

I always use the ‘Unviewed’ function to check new matches, but only seem to have a few, very low value ones at the moment.

Romilly.
