Solomon Hornett d1662 Lynsted

Solomon Hornett married Joan Bolden in 1639 Lynstead. I believe Joan to be the daughter of Robert & Mary Bolding of Crundale, Kent, born 1616.

A wild hope that maybe someone has a transcription of these two wills? Widow Hornett had 3 hearths in 1664 hearth tax returns. I am guessing that she was the only surviving child of her father Robert who was quite wealthy and farmed Ripple Farm, Crundale.

I think that Joanna Harnett/Hornet is Solomon's widow although some of the text suggests that Joanna was the daughter of a William Downe, dying in 1664, left it to his son Daniel, and it was inherited by his only daughter Johanna Harnett of Conyer in 1674. This conflicts with my Joan Hornett who fits my story very well.

Joan Bolden/Bolding's father Robert was quite well off and in 1605 he inherited Ripple Farm in Crundale and shortly afterwards disappears from Crundale along with his mother who was still at Ripple in 1625 (she came with the house)... I think he turns up in Lynsted just at the right time and it makes sense that his daughter Joan born 1616 Crundale went with him. In Lynsted Joan married Solomon Hornett in 1640:

The death in Lynsted in 1700 of Joan (nee Bolding) Harnett gives her age as 84 which fits perfectly for Robert Boulding of Crundale's daughter who was born in 1616.

Anyone know more about the other Joanne Harnett?
