A double brick wall. First is Ann Richardson who married James Culverhouse (b.1792 d.1877) no birth for Ann and no marriage date for them. Ann died 27 April 1838 Chesham. First child I can find recorded to them is George Culverhouse 1831.
Second is Anne Richardson who married William Ayres (Ayers both spellings used) 17 Mar 1816 in Chesham. Again no birth date for her but would be cir 1796, she died Dec 1848 Amersham vol 6 page 228. Their daughter Catherine married a Culverhouse but I have all them details.
Any help in sorting this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Anns Death Reg has her as age 35.

CULVERHOUSE, ANN  age 35 (c 1802/3)
GRO Reference: 1838  J Quarter in AMERSHAM  Volume 06  Page 242

May I ask how you know this Anns maiden name is Richardson?

As no children seem to be born after civil reg to confirm her maiden name.

Other Ann was age 56
AYRES, ANN       56  (c 1792)
GRO Reference: 1848  D Quarter in AMERSHAM  Volume 06  Page 228

There are a few possibles for her on Familysearch.Org

Did you notice the Richardson Family living near to James Culverhouse in 1841 Census?

I looked at other Richardson Marriages in Chesham 1810-1841 on FreeREG

Yours 17 Mar 1816

Mary STEVENS/Saml. RICHARDSON 07 Apr 1823
Sarah RIDDLE/Thos. RICHARDSON 03 Oct 1831
Maria MATTHEWS/Jos. RICHARDSON 04 Apr 1836

Joseph/Maria are the ones near the Ayres in 1841

Samuel remarried 1861 in London, Father JOHN a Labourer (Anc.)

On Census Samuel is born c 1801-1806 Chesham or Bucks

17 Feb 1805 Chesham, SAMUEL son of JOHN/ANN Richardson (F/S.Org)

THOMAS Richardson was Bapt 18 Aug 1811 to DANIEL/ELIZ (Anc.)

JOSEPH Richardson is a Pauper in 1851 born c 1802 Chesham

Someone may have access to Chesham records that I dont have.

But it is possible that Ann Richardsons Father may be a John or Daniel.

Hope someone else has info for you.

Trish :)

Thanks Trish, been working on the Culverhouse families for 16 years and just trying to tie up loose ends, some of the information came from the hugh wallis which was then free, but have only just found archive.org which has loads of parish records on so wading through that now. Thanks for the ages at death for the 2 Ann's that will be a big help.
