Yes I did look at the site, and I’ll look again... I found what you found (eventually 🤦🏼‍♀️) but only because I put it the info you gave me.

I’ll see if I can find their graves.

Someone on Ancestry has Benjamin’s father as Isaac, but I don’t know where that information came from.

Do you know what Akta means please?  I’ve just looked at Morris Schneider and his name was Morris Mendel Schneider, born 1889. So I think the man you found was Morris! Thank you again! Selby

It's just the entry number (or registration number) in that particular register.

I think the poster was wondering what AKTA was short for say, something like, Aktuel tafelnummer?? As a wild guess?

Now I am curious.

It's not an abbreviation. In my Polish dictionary, akta is defined as 'records, files, documents'.
