Registered on 13th March 1843 by Joseph Vanmeulebroucke, aged 40 years old, weaver, born in Waereghem (modern spelling: Waregem, in West Flanders) residing in Renaix; who presented a male child born in Renaix the day before yesterday (i.e. 11th March) at 7pm, the child of him and his wife Anne Marie Raffelaere, aged 32, spinner, born and residing in Renaix. He declared they wanted to give the child the name of Auguste.

Bride: Anne Marie Ruyffelaere, 19 years old, spinner, living in Ronse and born there on 8th September 1808, under age (minderjarig) and unmarried daughter of Jan Francis, aged 51 years old, present and consenting to the marriage; and of Elisabeth Stauin?, aged 52 years old living in Ronse.

*According to Jozef/Joseph's birth record on 20th August 1802 in Waregem, his mother's name was Jeanne Catherine Schinckels born in Nazareth. Would you like the full details from his birth record?

If remarriages have occurred children on census with Vandeulmeulebrook surnames may be step children born with a different surname

I'll dig out the birth record later. Got some other things to do for now haha.

So it seems the family only moved to Roubaix in the mid-1840s and before that were in Renaix/Ronse.
And that the mother died less than 10 years after they arrived in France. It seems she may have also used the name Rosalie on the 1846 census.
I wonder what happened after her death. Did Jozef/Joseph remarry? Did he stay in Roubaix?
