Gateshead on line marriage images
« on: Wednesday 26 May 21 16:42 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Some church marriage images were online for some Gateshead Churches. Up to 1920s for some but I can't remember where they were!!
Do Church marriages have different identification to Registry Office ones?
Is there a list of members that have passed away with covid?
Bit vague with this post. Hope my next one is a better one.
Cheers Guys

FindMyPast have images for Gateshead marriages - I haven't checked dates.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hi BumbleB
Please can you clarify how you found the FindMyPast Gateshead marriages? I tried looking having seen your post but the search term Gateshead isn’t bringing anything up.
Many thanks .

Thanks for this Bumblebee.
I was searching on the main search page and just putting Gateshead as the place, whereas the marriages for eg Gateshead come under the database ‘ Durham marriages’’. More lateral thinking on search terms required note to self.
