Wilson Family - Cumberland

Good Afternoon,

I am carrying out some family research on the Wilson family and have come to a dead end.  Hence why i am here.

I am trying to trace and obtain more details of a Thomas Wilson DOB: @1790 Cumberland died @ 1842 Bolton Lancs ? Married a Mary Wilkinson in 1807. Mary's details are DOB: @1786 Died: 1831.  Their son Peter Wilson was born 1819 in Workington Cumberland. 

I would like to take The Wilson line back from Thomas 1790,  I have no further details of his Mother or Father.  I hope someone can assist me?

A more accurate location in Cumberland (Village or Town)
An actual date of birth (1790 gives too many possibilities)
His occupation

You say his son was called Peter.  What were the names of any other children (naming conventions were followed back then), so children's name may help identify Thomas's parents.

Its a Tuesday and much water under the bridge.

I have dug out some more info:

Thomas Wilson DOB 1786 Wythburn Cumberland.    Mary and Thomas had 5 sons Peter, John DOB 1814, Thomas DOB 1820, William DOB 1824 & Joseph DOB 1828.

May I ask where you got all your info from Keith?

Isnt this the Family in 1841 in Workington?

John Wilson 25
Thos Wilson 20

So Mary didnt die 1831.

Possible Death Reg for Thomas.

As Thomas/Mary married 1807 there must be more children;

1st 2 have Parents as Thomas Wilson/Mary Wilkinson*
Thomas just as Thomas/Mary
