I am having trouble finding some poll books, particularly for Cheshire and Derbyshire in the 18th and early 19th centuries. I know there are lots online, including on the Ancestry database (originally from the London Metropolitan Archives & Guildhall)

However what counties, cities or regions are included in each year seems a mystery, and you can only discover by searching for a place or county to see if it comes up. And because they are jumbled up, a person may be attached to the wrong place. There are a few other guides including an old pinned rootschat post
