Kelly Family Photo - estimate year and estimate age please.

Hi all. I have a copy of a photograph from New England are of NSW. After thoughts on the year of photo. I was thinking 1870s? Also happy to hear estimates on age of sitter. I was thinking late 20s, early 30s perhaps.
It is a carte de visite. Perhaps someone is knowledgeable enough to advise if that might be a wedding ring on the finger as I know photographs were sometimes reversed in photography process.

1870's it is & mid-late decade.
It isn't reversed & I would suggest she is single.
My theory on fans is that it was considered a sign
of virtue & purity & I've often seen them in photos
of single women denoting their status.
I think early 20's so someone born mid-late 1850's I would suggest.

I know photographs were sometimes reversed in photography process.

Early photography ie. Daguerreotypes, Ambrotypes & Tintypes came out in reverse
because of the process used.
What you have is an albumin print produced from a negative so not in reverse.

A very young face - I think late teens.

Thanks for replies. That confirms what I thought regarding age of photograph. I therefore think it is actually the daughter of whom the photo was supposedly of. I also know that the daughter remained unmarried, so that ties nicely with what was mentioned.
