Another Sutherland born in Sutherland Scotland

I know we has seen many Sutherland's before I seem to have  loads myself I have a John Sutherland Born 1819 in Loth Sutherland I am looking for his parents I've tried everywhere

John married Jean Gordon 11.11.1842 Helmsdale
up to now I have them having 5 children

Jean Gordon is the daughter of James Gordon and Margaret Sutherland she was born 1821 Kildonan

SP OPR index only has one in Loth and his father was William (no mother listed).  Did you try Family Search?

His death, providing he died 1855 or later should list both parents.

Can't really see them after the 1861 census so far. Could they have left the country?

James Sutherland   B 1852 Portahmact Ross have i spelt that correct
Margaret Ann Sutherland  B 18.1.1868 Portahomact Ross County I have this birth certificate
I never gave it a thought that they may of emigrated

Boulmer is just about 5 miles from  me in Nortumberland I'll make a note of that

I was busy looking for the marriage of the youngest child
Margaret Ann Sutherland was 22 when she married Alexander McKay aged 24 in 5.9.1890 Parish of Tarbat County of Ross
Her father John Sutherland is a cooper  (Master ) deceased her mother Jean Gordon must be still alive I  looked for her death

Big gap between these children and Margaret Ann isn't there. You have her birth cert you said?
