Mary Woodward
« on: Tuesday 01 June 21 06:33 BST (UK) »
I have been trying for years to find any birth/baptism details for Mary Woodward  The only details I have are from the census after she married.

Mary Woodward born 1822 (c) Stone Gloucestershire.  Father Edward Woodward.  Married James Williams on the 21 November 1844 Temple Bristol. Mary died in 1912.  On her marriage certificate it gives her age as "full"

One reason why I would like to know is on ancestry trees alot of the trees have Mary been born in 1811??

Any help would be appreciated

Helina, There is a baptism of a Mary Woodward 20th April 1823 at Stone, parents Edward & Susanna. Fathers occ "Pigkiller".

There are a few siblings also baptised there with same parents and occupation. If you want details let me know.

Thank you John, The baptism has been a great help. Now I know the mother's name will be helpful to.

Yes Edward was a pig farmer which I guess would be killed.
