Wybunbury
« on: Tuesday 01 June 21 19:42 BST (UK) »
I am looking for information on the parents of John Brown born abt 1848. I know that his father is also John Brown a butcher.
1861 census shows a John Brown living with his grandfather, John Brown, also a butcher.
1871 has John Brown as a boarder.

Thanks

Heatherjulie

Thanks. I had seen that but wasn't certain if it was the same, Brown being a common surname.

I did find a John Brown in 1851 census as a nephew. Curious as to what happened to his parents.

Thank you for your efforts   :)

"I know that his father is also John Brown a butcher."

How do you know this?

Do you have a marriage certificate for your John BROWN, b. about 1846?
