WW1 Pension ledger for Bryan Nolan
« on: Thursday 03 June 21 17:02 BST (UK) »
Can anyone with a subscription to fold3 tell me what the details are on the WW1 pension ledger for Bryan Nolan K35965 under Transferred to & Other action? If he had TB which was non attributable and non aggravated and it says No Grounds on the back, does that mean he applied for pension and didn’t get it or just that they checked on him every now and again (seemingly between Nov 1922-Feb 23 - could this be when he was in the Sanatorium?)? Also in the transcript it says Regiment - Royal Hussars, is this an error because it says RN - Royal Navy? https://www.fold3.com/search?keywords=K35965

That is exactly what I did! But now I want to know more about what is on the record that I found.

Yes it is. I assume that is his ratings card you found. He only served for a few years during the war and was discharged then worked as a colliery worker & died of TB in Ystradgynlais at 38. It’s his Pension ledger I am interested in understanding more about.
