How much do you know about that side of your family DHuppert1?

Your mother’s cousin mentioned “the old country” - does she have any idea which country the “old country” might be?

Surnames might give an indication of their origins, if you can give us some names.

I'm not even sure what side of the family the photo is from. Grandparents on my mother's mothers side (which is what I think its from) is Polner/Boardman Or on my mother's father's side Epstein/Levine.
From what I can find so far looks like they came from Russia
