Screenshot of Newpaper Article

I'm trying to take a screenshot of a article dated 1914 from an old newspaper.  It looks OK on the
screen but when I get it from my downloads it has a big black line through some of it.
I've done it several times and the black line isn't always in the same place.  What am I doing wrong?

What happens if you use the clipper tool?

What about the older method of pressing Print Screen to make a copy to the clipboard which you can paste into an image viewer?

Can you right click on the image and Copy or Save to File?

If there are other articles at the same source, does it happen with all of them? Can you provide a URL so others can try it?

I've been in touch with the library where the article is online and have been told that I am allowed
to take a screenshot.
