390 B.c looking for Attalus, a Macedonian 390b.c

hello i know this is very very far back but i can not find General Attalus, a Macedonian 390 b.c father? his neice Cleopatra Eurydice who married king Philip II of Macedonia.
I just can not find Attalus Father .

  where have you already looked .... so your research efforts are not duplicated...
  Are you relying on translated scripts of digitised images of more recent historical writings about Philip II..

No Bev, that's a generation or so later. The one April is after was murdered by Alexander at the start of his reign, along with his niece, Philip's wife. As all the records for this period were written centuries after the events, I would guess his parentage might be unknown,

A few sources state Attalus was ' The son of a Nobleman'. Unfortunately, They don't give the Nobleman's name.
