Marriage Dumfries Scotland
« on: Monday 07 June 21 01:49 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I have a marriage from 1838 Dumfries Scotland.
Would someone be able to help with the crossed out word between Dorothy and Neilson
she also used the name Dorothea and I have noticed this may be a change above her 1st name,
any help much appreciated.

Regards
Jagah

Looks like the initial 'N' to me.  Very similar to the first letter of Neilson.    :-\

Wiggy,
Thank you for reply,
Yes I can see that now, N with lines going across,
I was looking at it side ways thinking it was a word crossed out,
always great to get another opinion.
many Thanks
