daughter Enid Flora Marie b. 1911 Guildford Surry

married 5 April 1942 Skipton UK
Beryl Gwyneth Cranston 1917-1963
Trying to confirm/find Flora S D Macdonald maiden name and her Husbands details ...it maybe John Macdonald...he was a full time military man, so maybe he was posted around the world as hes not in the 1911 census records

In 1911 Flora and children are living in Barracks at Knaphill, Woking - the youngest 2 children were born Woking.

Wow and Thankyou all...
Its all come together very well and sent a message to Groat on that other thread as apparently there is a Photo of Flora at age 18 around 1890..wont that be something....
so Thankyou again...a compliment from Tasmania......youre worth ya weight in Ice Cream....it does not get any better than that...

Hello

I've only just noticed this thread.

Most of the information RickyJack is looking for is already to be found somewhere on RootsChat, but to summarise the McDonald family:

Flora McDonald (nee McDonald) married John McDonald in Kensington in 1905. They had 6 children the first of whom died in infancy.
The remaining 5 were Eustace James - Eust, Edmund George -Baldo, Enid Flora Sophie - Sis, Ronald Edward - Ron and Bernard Henry - Tim (my father). I met all of them except Flora (and the dead child of course)

Here's an Obit of John McDonald - hope this helps.
