The General Register Office index of birth registrations gives mother's maiden name as ALLSOP.  This leads to:
Marriage Jun qtr 1891 Highworth Wiltshire vol 5a p44  Job SMITH and Sarah Ann ALLSOPP (on FreeBMD)

There are two probable deaths on FreeBMD:
SMITH Arthur Augustus, Dec qtr 1971 Reading, Berkshire, vol 6a p400, d-o-b 4Je1895
SMITH Herbert Francis J, Sep qtr 1973 Merton vol 5d p909, d-o-b 20Jy1893

The next step may be to check the 1939 Register (available on paysites) to see where the surviving family members were and to find out if Arthur and Herbert married.

There is a possibility that Ernest and Arthur's service records can be found on paysites, but many were lost in a fire during WW2.

Philip

Wow, that is great. How did you manage to find out all that information please. I am going to try and find out if there are any graves for these as they are my long lost family. The only grave I have found is Ernest's grave in FRANCE. I know about Job and Sarah's grave as they are buried with Albert in Mitcham,

Thank you

Regards

Maryanne
