Ramsbottom is nowhere near Mottram.
If you enlarge the map, you can see Mottram in big letters to the right of Staley
Do you mean Broadbottom?

Hi Heather,
Just wondering if in your volunteering with the Archives Centre you have come across anybody researching the Sidebottom surname from that area around Hollingworth.
I would love to make contact with them and compare findings.
They are an incredibly difficult lot to trace as everybody gave all their children the same names.
