William Marshall married 44 Farmer b. Eccles
Annie Elias single 31 b. Caernarvon
Sarah Marshall Elias 10 b. Southport
Elenor M Elias 9 b. Weaverham
Maryanne M Elias 8 b. Weaverham

From the names it looks as if William and Annie were the parents of the children but themselves were unmarried.

Can't find the family on any subsequent census 1901 ? 1911 ?    Did they migrate?

Would like to have William's date of death and his will if he made one.

Some potential sightings in welsh newspapers

1896 - list of visitors satying in Llandudno. W Marshall Esq, Weaverham. Mrs Marshall, ditto
1897 - Mr Marshall (Weaverham) at a hunt related presentation
1897 - Mr W Marshall of Mere House, Weaverham, being placed in competitions at Middlewich Agricultural Show (with horses)
1899  - Mr Wm Marshall of Mere House, Weaverham, being placed in competitions at Middlewich Agricultural Show

Then Cheshire Observer  Saturday,  Apr. 14, 1900s note the death on Sunday of William Marshall (58) Weaverham after an attack of pneumonia. Breeder, owner and trainer of racehorses. Also held some infamous international (England v Ireland) cock fights in the 1870s

Death registration has his age as 53, which fits better

Probate granted to Edward Ault Marson, solicitor. He left £132,550

Bu the 1901 census the house is in the hands of a Henry Fowler Pilling - no sign of  the daughters .

Thanks MB - have sent for a copy of the will - he left a tidy sum - today it would have been worth app.£16,000,000.

Also should have the name of his wife who may not have been the mother of his children.

The girls were all baptised on 9 October 1884 at Weaverham Parish Church. Only their mother’s name was given and the address as Mere Brow. No occupation for Annie.
