what became of Pamela Hely?
« on: Saturday 12 June 21 10:25 BST (UK) »
Pamela Gertrude Isabel (or Isobel) Hely married John Godfrey Bernard Worsley in Kensington in the 2nd quarter of 1947.  I think they were divorced after only a few years.

Can anyone find for me a more precise date (and perhaps place) of marriage,
and whether she remarried; also her death under whatever surname?
I've searched FreeBMD and the GRO and the probate calendars, all in vain.

She is still in Kensington in 1965 - the only resident mentioned at that address.

Thanks for your swift reply, Cathy.  Yes, the date of birth looks right, so evidently someone couldn't spell.  Are you prepared to tell me what it says in the 1939 Register?

We aren't allowed to post look-up information from 1939 register except what is available from free search.

I suspected that, Aghadowey, but presumably there's no restriction on imparting information in private messages.
