Looking for info on my convict JAMES MOORE sentenced to life VDL 1823 at the Old Bailey.
There are no records as to where he was held while awaiting transportation to the Phoenix (1824) in Portsmouth.
Just says London Gaol Delivery on the transportation register.
Any help appreciated.

I have now found where he was sent to, the prison hulk Retribution under the name William Moore.
