Not sure the significance of this. I'm looking for a Mary born almost a century before that

As you can see, she was Mary in the censuses and is Mary in the civil death registers.

This is a transcript of their headstone in Thopre Langton churchyard:

In Affectionate Remembrance of WILLIAM TILLEY Of Thorpe Langton
Who died April 17th 1889 Aged 82 years

Also of MARY His beloved wife Who died February 6th 1888 Aged 96 years

The Lord gave and the Lord hath Taken away. Holy be the name Of the Lord.

(The 1851 census has Mary born in Thorpe Langton)

I gave her places of birth in the other censuses.
1851 - Thorpe Langton

1861, 1871, 1881 - Derbyshire.

1841  - ‘yes’ born in county.
