The above Link describes the general deployment, by Country, of the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards, throughout the 1830s and 1840s. Other information can be gleaned, by clicking on the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards Title, at the top of the deployment list.

According to Hart's Army Lists for the 1840s, the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards Headquarters, where based at Nottingham England and Longford Ireland.
