Thanks Rosie, your comments noted and I concur.
You'll have probably noticed that illiteracy still runs in the family  ;)

Thanks  ;D

Welcome to St Michaels Church Penkridge - Home page

http://www.stmichaelspenkridge.co.uk

Under the Churchyard Section is listed ALL the burials in the Churchyard - and also a map showing where they are buried...

Use the Seach engine for BIDDLE and there are a number of hits - which does gives additional family information e.e.g

William BIDDLE 21 July 1860 - of Wolverhampton & Grandson of Robert BIDDLE (Senior).

Then if you reuse the link the the Labourers employed by the Littleton family

BIDDIS 1860 - Penkridge Cottage
BIDDLE Edward 1761-1770 rent 15s, rising to £4/5s
BIDDLE James 1814 -Wolgarston, rent £2/14s
BIDDLE Robert 1814 - Otherton rent £127

Wolgarston is part of Penkridge and has a Middle School
