Scotts & Greigs Photo - Dundee - Photo Repair?
« on: Thursday 17 June 21 14:40 BST (UK) »
This is a photo that has been scanned and passed on to me. It is the Scott family in Dundee  in 1885. A. Watt Photographer, Dundee.

I am certain of the date - the elderly man is Alexander Greig, father of the wife in the photo, and sitting on his knee is Joseph Scott. Joseph passed away in 1885 at abt 2 years old, while the baby, Sarah Scott sitting on the wife/mom's knee was born in 1885.

I realize the image may not be high enough resolution, but thought I'd try anyway :)

Thank you in advance,

Ian Scott

Thanks, Ian! That provides an interesting perspective and seems to bring out the facial appearances to my eyes.

Appreciate your effort!
