Irene Cuthbertson Marriage

Good evening everyone I am just wondering if you can help me with the marriage of Irene Cuthbertson she married Edward Gentile they appear in the Winnipeg Tribune 27/5/1938 on Page 10. thank you so much

The marriage notice says:
Irene Cuthbertson is the bride of Edward Gentle
The marriage of Irene, only daughter of Mr. J Cuthbertson, to Mr. Edward Gentle, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J Gentle, was an event of Wednesday, May 18, at 7 o'clock, in St. Matthew's church.  Rev. G. R. Calvert officiated.

The notice goes on to say that the bride was given in marriage by her father...and there is a description of her wedding outfit and bouquet.   Miss Evelyn Lewis attended the bride ... there is a description of her outfit and bouquet.  Mr. William Henderson was best man.  The reception was at the Princess cafe.  There is also a description of Mrs Gentle's outfit and corsage (mother of the bridegroom).   Also for Mrs Sidaway of Vancouver , grandmother of the groom.

Mr and Mrs Gentle will reside in the Gordon apts. Winnipeg.

Reply 19 on that particular thread ( Mary Myfanwy Cuthbertson Nee Jones from Llanddona, Anglesey, Wales) had both articles. The engagement was quoted earlier in the article reply 10 and then repeated with the marriage in reply 19.
