Editing GED files
« on: Wednesday 23 June 21 20:39 BST (UK) »
Sometimes I want to chop off parts of a tree before sending it to someone, but in Ancestry I can only delete people one at a time so it's pretty much impossible. Is there a GED file editor that enables quicker deleting than this, maybe deleting whole branches of family just by deleting one parent or spouse, thus breaking the link to the rest of the tree?

Not easy!
Open a GED file in Notebook (or any text editor) and you will see the complexity!
