Hi i'm trying to trace  info on Mary Elizabeth Carruthers born abt 1926 Balmaghie, Kirkcudbrightshire. daughter to Janet clark born abt 1895 Dalbeattie.
I know she married a George Connelly in 1948 dalbeattie and had a daughter Margaret rose Connelly IN 1949. But i cant seem to trace Mary after that. No death record and no possible marriage record to say she remarried.  Any help would be much appreciated.

If you have access to Ancestry there are a few trees with a death for
Marie Elizabeth Carruthers born Little Duchrae Balmaghie died  1999 Buckinghamshire
Daughter of William and Janet Carruthers ( Clark )
They have her as the spouse of a John Edward Mead but not seeing a marriage

Marie Elizabeth Carruthers
Birth date 20 December 1925
Died 31 March Chiltern Buckinghamshire
Age 73 years
Might be worth getting the certificate to see if this is who you are looking for

It looks likely that Mary Elizabeth Carruthers
On the London Electoral Registers on Ancestry.
1939 city, England

However if you enter the name exactly on Ancestry it would appear that there is more than one person of that name in the period 1939 +/- 10 years.
