Hello 

Is anyone able to do a look up for me please? I have death dates for my G3 grandparents, both are buried at the church in Halton Holegate in East Lindsey. Samuel Orrey died in 1893, his wife Susannah in 1897. If anyone could please do a look up for me on the 1891 census for the area, to see where they were living then, I would really appreciate it.
I know the spelling of both their surname and my G3 grandmothers first name may be slightly different.
I live close to Halton Holegate now and would love to go find their house!

address on Samuel's burial is also Fenside, but on Susannah's it is Eastville.

Wow, thanks so much for the speedy response. I wonder if perhaps Susannah moved in with relatives after Samuel died? I have just been looking at Eastville which is given as being in Toynton St Peter. This is where my grandmother grew up and is a very short distance away. It seems likely that Susannah went to live with her daughter Sarah and son in law Edward Wright.

It's possible but the address for Edward & Sarah in 1891 & 1901 is Fen Drove in Toynton St Peter.  Eastville looks to be further south.

That actually makes some sense - we know that Simmon House on Hobhole Drain (near New Leake) is a family property, Eastville is very close to that.
What I would give for a time machine....!!

Will have to take a little trip out to Halton Holegate and have a mooch around. Be amazing to find their final resting places.
