THOMAS JAMES THOMPSON, Coolbuck, Lisbellaw
« on: Friday 25 June 21 17:28 BST (UK) »
Thomas James Thompson died at Coolbuck, Lisbellaw on 22 Aug 1920 after WW1 service with the North Irish Horse. Aged 26, he was the son of James and Ellen Thompson, Coolbuck. James (died 1908) and Ellen (died 1933) are buried at Lisbellaw Parish Church but the burial records show no trace of Thomas. Thomas' death was registered by his brother Cecil.

Does anyone out there have any idea where Thomas James Thompson is buried? Any information appreciated.

Have you checked the local Fermanagh newspapers for a death and burial notice?  I don't see it in the Belfast Newsletter.

Some local papers available on subscription sites-
British Newspaper Archive https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/
Irish Newspaper Archive https://www.irishnewsarchive.com/

For others reading, here's the 1901 and 1911 censuses for the family.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed. I am in touch with descendants of Thomas' family so I may yet find the answer.
