Blencowe Date and/or identification request
« on: Wednesday 30 June 21 20:51 BST (UK) »
The attached photo was taken by L. Varney, a professional photographer in Buckingham. Notation on the back says "cousin in England". The parents of the person who had the photo were Jesse Blencowe and Mary Ann Smith. I believe that the man's surname may be Blencowe or the woman's maiden name may have been Smith. I believe the photo was taken between 1870 and 1900 but would like confirmation or correction.

Hi Roger and welcome to RootsChat....I would say this was most likely to be 1870s.

Welcome  :)

I agree with Carol. It looks 1870s, possibly mid decade.

Welcome from me, too, rogerd. Just in case you could do with an enhanced version. :)
