Porto Bello Inn
« on: Friday 09 July 21 10:43 BST (UK) »
Does anyone no where the Porto Bello Inn stood in Leamington around 1900 please?
I have been transcribing some newspaper reports about a boy drowned near the viaduct in which he was said to have hired the boat from THE Porto Bello  I wonder it this refered to a pub.(Another newspaper refered to a woman being killed by a tram she having been to the Porto Bello Inn)

Thank you so it is very likely that the pub hired out the rowing/pleasure/day boats.

Croeso, Trees

The "PH" was there on early maps but not named. The 1952 confirmed it as Portobello.
