Marriage certificate chapel, South Shields, 1796

Hi folks.

I am having some difficulty working out where in South Shields this marriage was performed. The attachment seems to indicate Chapel of the Fields, but I can't locate any reference to a chapel of this name in South Shields. The couple lived in Westoe, if that helps. I'd love to know more about this chapel. All help greatly appreciated!
