Thank you John another lovely one  :-) Really appreciate your help.

I think its around the 1940s too. Possibly for her sweetheart/fiance to take with him when he joined the RAF. He was still in civvy street when the 1939 register was compiled, but was almost 20 so I would think he would be in the forces quite soon after.

Agree with the 1940s. Like Carol, I have quite a few  photos of older cousins wearing clothes like that.
