Might be an idea to start a new thread for Robert BELL.  ;) Hopefully you'll get more help.

Just a guess, isn't your Robert death more likely to be at Tynemouth (10b/143) in June qtr 1903, aged 84? Tynemouth registration district includes Longbenton where he and Eleanor are in 1901, and as you say is where Eleanor died.

He married in Bishopwearmouth to Eleanor Watson and only had one child. Mary Jane Bell b. 1852 (from my research).

Just to let you know, in the 1851 census at Stockton Rd, Bishopwearmouth is the family of Robert (woodturner) and Eleanor with children John (3) and Sarah Eleanor (1).
HO 107/2396 pg2

Probably:
John birth Sept qtr 1847 Sunderland (24/284) mmn WATSON
Sarah Eleanor birth Sept qtr 1849 Sunderland (24/310) mmn WATSON

You possibly have this already - I meant to add earlier that John AMOS appears in Pigots 1830 as Wheelwright "(and machine maker) North brink".

Has anyone the full text for several articles in the Cambridge Times dates:

Sat. 14 Dec. 1872 John Amos, Market Place, March "Having obtained a licence as an auctioneer & appraiser..."

And others of John Amos, also: 31 October 1879; 7th June 1873.

"JOHN AMOS, MARKET PLACE, MARCH, Having obtained a License as an AUCTIONEER AND APPRAISER, ASSURES the public that any business in the above branch will be carefully attended to, and hopes by strict attention, punctual settlements, and low charges, to merit a share of support. Furniture and other goods purchased for cash, or money advanced on every description of goods intended for sale or otherwise."

Saturday 14 December 1872
Newspaper: Cambridgeshire Times

I can see this advertisement from at least 27 July 1872

The 7 June 1873 advertisement is the same as above.

I also note an item from 20 July 1872 which states "JOHN AMOS, OF THE SWAN BREWERY, MARKET PLACE, MARCH ..."

“JOHN AMOS, BRIDGE HOUSE, MARCH, Agent for Steward and Patterson's Celebrated Norwich Ales. Families supplied on the shortest notice at Is., Is. 3d. and Is. 6d. per gal. Sparkling Bitter Ale Is. per gal.”

Friday 31 October 1879
Newspaper: Cambridgeshire Times

Again, this advertisement appears many months prior to October 1879, at least in January that year.

Modified to add:
The advertisement appears also on 11 October 1878.
