Wedding in Alencon, France

Interested in wedding of William Luke to Rose Bottiere in September 1873. In Alencon, Orne, France
This is the farther of my Grandfather Francis Wallace Luke

So they were married twice? The earlier one was at St Paul's Wilton Place in March 1873. Rose spelled her surname Boiettiere. Father Pierre Boiettiere, a farmer.

You are correct with regards William Luke and Rose Bottiere marriage in London. (Interesting Church looks expensive for marriage). March 1873 wedding

Now this is where I appear to loose my thread on these people.
They had 5 children of which Francis Wallace Luke I have born 18th September 1873 in Alencon, France.

And it is Francis I need to confirm was born in France.

William Luke was a farmer up north in England and he marries a women from France whose farther  was also a farmer. I suspect Rose was living in London at the time as I have her occupation as Servant.

A search on Filae.com brings up a hit for the birth of Francois Wallace Luke in the Orne Archives (Archives de l'Orne).

parents married 8 the december 1872 in London, both 31 in 1873, lived 52 rue de la barre in Alençon, no occupation for either of them. Father usually living in London .

I found a Pierre Boittiere who died in Alençon ( Orne) 20 july 1868
and married Marie Catherine Hubert  17 june 1827 in Ravigny ( Mayenne)

and a Rose Françoise Boittiere born in 1842 in Ravigny (Mayenne)

Says the bride born 17 january 1807 , Champfremont, father françois Hubert , mother marie Chauvel
. Groom born 9 prairial an 7 in Ravigny , father Jean Boittiere and mother Barbe Lecoq . All were farmers.
