Hi Don,
I am seeing the same as you, which is no help.

Deceasedonline.com has this:

Cremation Register summary
last name :Muirhead
first names : Margaret Neale
Cremation date :14 November 1964
Location:  Edinburgh (This doesn't quite fit?)

I am thinking if this nephew signed the death registration, he may have also taken care of the burial?
The pricing for the burial/cremation register is 2 pounds.

EDIT!  It's Eric Cooper Henderson Forbes!!
Her probate, in 1965:
Muirhead Margaret Neale of 51 St. Mary Street Kirkcudbright died 12 November 1964 at Kirkcudbright
Confirmation of Eric Cooper Henderson Forbes and George Wardlaw Burnet
Sealed London 17 February

Well done, bbart  :)

I looked through SP births and deaths for an Eric Forbes this afternoon and came up with an Eric Cooper Forbes - but had things on so didn't investigate further

I can't remember where/when as I had to go and, as you know, searches aren't recorded by SP unless you save them.

Looks like he died in 1978 ... in Sussex?

It appears he was in the army for quite a while, then a CA (Chartered accountant?)

The highlights of his marriage notice might help fit him in the family:

The Scotsman 30 June 1941
At Greyfriars Church, Edinburgh, on 28th June 1941 Captain Eric C. H. Forbes, younger son of Sheriff and Mrs. J. W. Forbes, Bearlochan, Stewartry of Kirkcudbright married Edna Margaret Young, younger daughter of Mr. T. M. Young 16 Hermitage Gardens, Edinburgh

Thanks all, I was curious as the name was not familiar to me.  I never looked at her siblings just her parents.  Margret was 98 when she died and her husband John died in 1927 and lays in Elmers End Cemetery in London.  I know she or her ashes aren't there.  I was surprised to find her in Kirkcudbright but having no children I guess she was running out of relatives to be near.  She may be with her parents who lay in Warriston.

Thank you again,

Don
