New York Passenger List - two entries  - E. C. Wray - aged 29 years or E Wray - aged 29 years
Port of Departure Chagres and Havana
Port of Arrival New York - 17 October 1850  - Ship Georgia.

also travelling I or J Wray aged 22 years ?

(The "C" looks to be part of a fancy "W")

I did receive confirmation from Wood's Chapel that James Hurl and Mary Watterson had a son James born Jan 28, 1854 and baptised Mar 26, 1854. This is likely the James that married Jane Kirkwood, even though James gives his dob as July 1853 on the 1900 census. The dob for their son William is also wrong on the 1900. He was born Aug 28, 1878 even though the 1900 census says Aug 1875. So odds are that Jane's dob is slightly out as well.
According to the online tree for Sarah Hurl and Joseph Watterson, her parents were James Hurl and Mary. So I am thinking Sandra is correct that they were siblings, even though I do not have Sarah's baptism as yet.

Hi!

I am descended from a Wheelwright Clements and Elizabeth Wat(t)erson of Belagherty Magherafelt.
I'm just starting to put some connections together after a DNA match got in touch and I realised from shared matches that Elizabeth is a double tt Waterson not just one t as on her daughters death certificate.

Elizabeth from her gravestone is born 1800 but really difficult to pin down in records as I havent been able to locate a birth record or marriage record.

I have multiple DNA matches going up to Joseph Watterson and Mary Woods (its possible that this couple may be Elizabeths parents looking at CMs shared by various matches) and would love to find out more by comparing matches with other testers.

If anyone comes across any information regarding Elizabeth it would be very much appreciated.

Donna

Donna, are you sure the name is Wheelwright Clements? I found several newspaper articles about Wright Clements from Bellagherty, and his son Wright Clements. Also found a marriage on irishgenealogy of a Wright Clements of Bellagherty in 1863, son of Wright Clements.
