Hi Peggy,

The full name is Wheelwright Clements (Its the same as his grandfathers) But is shortened to Wright in some records which I would imagine was the name he used daily.

When did Elizabeth die, also when did Wheelwright die? I have no Elizabeth for a child of Joseph Watterson and Mary Woods but then again, I might not have all their children.

This is the problem with records being so patchy, its not a definite yet just a theory Im working on based on all the matches I have which is placing Elizabeth there in theory.

Wheelwright is 1802 - 1866 and Elizabeth 1800-1864 (dates taken from a gravestone which is in St Johns Graveyard, Ballinderry)

Elizabeths Maiden name can be found on their Daughter Sarah's death certificate.

Name Sarah Keightly
Gender Female
Race White
Death Age 83
Birth Date 11 Nov 1826
Birth Place Ireland
Death Date 28 Nov 1909
Death PlaceMoreland, Lycoming, Pennsylvania, USA
Father Wright Clements
Mother Elizabeth Waterson
Certificate Number 103311

Im aware that Joseph and Mary did have a daughter called Jane Elizabeth born 1796 I believe it is, and someone suggested this could be the same person but I'm really not sure on that one.

I have a daughter Jane 1796 for Joseph Watterson/Waterhouse and Mary Galloway (not Woods). Jane supposedly died 1860 but I don't have any other info on her.

Thank you Peggy,

I'm just putting this side of the tree together as I only became aware of the DNA connections 3 days ago so I dont have Joseph and Mary Galloway plotted in yet (I like to try and do everything from scratch to avoid errors) I believe there are some Parish records available but not online so I will have to pop over and have a look when Covid restrictions make things more easy.

The 5 DNA matches I have pegged down so far all come from Leonard Watterson son of Joseph and Mary. I think he is the Leonard born 1812 Ardtrea that dies at Cookstown but have spotted another Leonard Watterson b1800 who dies 1885 Magherafelt as well so thats not ruled out :)

A lot more digging to do but always useful to try and connect with people who have a better overview of the family - and of course pegging down any extra DNA matches is always great information to have.

I have been puzzling over the James Hurl who died in 1918 and is buried in the Raines plot. There has to be a connection there somehow. This James was born 1854 to James Hurl and Mary Ann Watterson and Mary Ann remarried in 1859 to William John Hurl after James had died in 1858. Sarah Hurl born 1863-1865 who married Joseph Watterson might be a half sister but cannot be a full sister (even though her parents are given as James Hurl and Mary unknown by her son James at Sarah's death in 1929) since James married to Mary Ann Watterson had died in 1858. Sarah's son might be confused about names of her parents.
An obituary for James who died abt Jan 10, 1918 might reveal something. Not sure when his wife Jane died. Their son William Hurl died Jan 15, 1954 probably in Philadelphia. I have been trying to find Sarah's birth record but have been unsuccessful as yet.
