yep. I'm stuck on the 1920 census - I don't know where Virginia went when her parents died. Her stepbrother was in the army by 1917 and in SC in 1920. He served at US Camps during the war.
But no trace of V. in 1920 or 30 yet.

by 1930 Virginia could have been using the surname Wilson. That was her stepbrother's surname - her mother's first marriage was to a Henry Wilson.
