Aberdare Monument Inscription
« on: Friday 16 July 21 17:50 BST (UK) »
The attached photo is of the top of a monument in Aberdare Cemetery. It is in the Roman Catholic Section. I wonder if anyone is able to read what the inscription says. Completely out of my scope. Thanks for any help. Toby.

I think it's In Affectionate Remembrance Of - with one word on each part, starting bottom left.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

I think you have it in one arthurk. I was thinking of something much more complicated- latin perhaps.
When you say it, it all seems so clear & easy. Thanks. T
