According to her baptism she was actually born on 25/3/1897 - looks like she never married as found this death entry:

Doris Winifred Smith b.25/3/1897, d. Dec.1987 Stourbridge.

Probate calendar shows she lived at 39 Station Road, Hockley.

Ahah! - so I was almost right.   Right death entry but she'd actually married another Smith to confuse me!

Her husband was Alfred William Amos Smith born 6/1/1898, died 1967.   Probate calendar confirms administration granted to Doris Winifred Smith, widow.
