« on: Monday 19 July 21 03:28 BST (UK) »
Trying to trace back from William Blomfield & wife Frances Winter, married 6/1/1756 Stoke Ferry.
Four children - James, William, Susan, Mary. Have the marriage being recorded in Stoke Ferry, But can't find a birth for William(1725), or where he was born, or who his parents were. I know that some of this line go to New Zealand. Any help would be much apricated.

Four children - James, William, Susan, Mary.

Just looking at the burials on freereg it looks like all of the above names, plus some additional children, for which there are no baptisms but parents noted.  died at Stoke Ferry between 1759 & 1819.

Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

Thanks to you all.
1. I know William was buried 19/4/1803 in Stoke Ferry.
2. I know 3 of the four children were christened in Stoke Ferry.
3. I know that he married Frances Winter 6/1/1756 in Stoke Ferry.
Those are the Facts that I have.

But thanks a lot for the Effort.

William Blomfield widower was buried in Stoke Ferry on 19 April 1803, no age given
Frances was buried on 21 Oct 1783 age 61, which gives a birth year about 1722. There's a possible baptism in Shouldham abt 9 miles from Stoke Ferry. 2 apr 1722 d/o Joseph and Ann.
She would have had her last child at about 42 after a relatively late start.
I would suspect that William might be a similar age to her .

William was a butcher taking on apprentices John Bradfield in 1765 and William Thorp in 1782, but I can't find him serving an apprenticeship anywhere, maybe he learnt his trade from father or uncle

They were both single at marriage and it was by licence.
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott
