I'd say Panton or Parton.

John Plimer who was a witness to several marriages in that register usually did his P like that.

I'd say Panton or Parton.

Its indexed as Tranton on one record but i was hoping it was Parton which would make sense. Cheers

ancestry has Tranton, my first thought was Frampton.
